
How do I access UFP services?You can contact UFP via email, website referral, telephone or fax.
Do I have to pay for User Friendly Psychiatry (UFP) services?Yes. User Friendly Psychiatry is a private mental health consultancy, however prices are individually priced to the type of proposal.
When do I begin paying for UFP services?UFP will work closely with the client in drawing up a proposal following free consultation. Once the proposal has been agreed, services will be delivered by UFP and invoiced accordingly. If you are a client seeking CBT, then payment is required at the beginning of each session.
Are psychotherapeutic interventions delivered nationally?No. Psychotherapeutic Interventions are delivered locally to the Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire and Merseyside regions. However larger scale proposals and block contracts can be negotiated. Training and consultancy services are only delivered nationally and internationally.
Can UFP help me with my mental health problems?Yes. It will depend on the nature and duration. There are never cast iron guarantees, however UFP can provide time limited evidenced based cognitive behavioural intervention (CBT) to support individuals or services. UFP can provide CBT for hearing voices, anxiety, depression and delusional beliefs.
Do I have to go to a clinic?Community venues are used to deliver interventions, however there may be occassions where CBT can be delivered in the clients home.
Do UFP charge per head for training?No. The daily charge is for training of upto 50 people. Surcharges apply to training events for over 50 people. This is for the cost of extra handouts etc, however this will be based on an individual basis.
Does UFP provide the presentation materials for the training day?Yes, UFP will provide acetates, handouts and presentation software, unless agreed otherwise. The client will provide the venue and a flip chart/pens.
What if my organisation cannot afford the fees for training?There are many grants available for certain organisations for training purposes. UFP will work closely with the client to undertake a grant search for training. UFP will supply costs of training to be included within the grant application.
